Iraqu Red Crescent Society
Iraqi Red Crescent Society Is an independent national humanitarian, society whose works to reduce the suffering of people without discrimination, in the time of peace and war, and during the natural and non- natural disasters. IRCS is one of the most effective societies within the International movement of the Red Crescent and Red Cross.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society was founded in 1932, and it has its headquarters in Baghdad. It is an independent, international humanitarian society that works to provide non-discriminatory medical aid to people under any and all circumstances. Besides giving first aid, they also train volunteers in first aid.
As of 2024 the president is Yaseen Ahmed Abbass.
